What I’m working on
I run Fore Studio, a one-person studio I started in 2020, and build its Mac apps. It began as client work; these days I only ship my own. This page is what I am actually working on right now.

Current focus
- Levers. Just shipped, and launched for real on October 28. The moment you share or record your screen it hides your desktop icons, Dock, other apps and menu bar icons, and puts it all back when you stop. Sixteen everyday Mac switches come with it.
- MacBase. Live: a free directory of Mac apps where any maker can list theirs, with alternatives, open source apps and member deals. It is where I am putting what I have learned about building, notarising and selling a Mac app.
- Vitals. Still growing: up to a year of history, a Terminal command, and 1,520 licences sold. Twelve releases went out in its first week, and the pace has not dropped much.
- Flit. Dictation that runs entirely on your Mac, and the first Mac app I sold. Every mishearing someone reports is a fix in the next release.
- SoundBar and Rimlight. Next on the bench: a volume for every app in the notch, and a screen-recording studio.
- Depost AI 2. Live under Remoteen: an agent-based content team for LinkedIn. Nothing publishes until you approve it.
- StartupBase and AcquireBase. The two web platforms, still running.
- Writing. More about launches and the business side, fewer framework tutorials.
